Is my data sent anywhere when I generate a QR code?

Do QR codes expire?
No. QR codes are just images that encode data. They do not expire and work forever, as long as the image is not damaged. The only thing that could stop working is the link they point to, if that website goes offline.
How do I scan a QR code with my phone?
On most modern phones you can use the built-in camera app. Open the camera and point it at the QR code, then tap the notification that appears. On some Android phones you need to open Google Lens instead. No separate app is required.
What is the difference between QR code error correction levels?
Error correction allows a QR code to still scan even when part of it is damaged or covered. There are four levels: L (7% recovery), M (15%), Q (25%), and H (30%). Higher levels create a denser code but are more robust, which is important if you plan to add a logo in the center.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?

Do WiFi QR codes work with any router?
WiFi QR codes use a universal format recognized by iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. They should connect to any router, but compatibility depends on the phone scanning them and the encryption type (WPA2 works with all modern devices).
